  • Do I need to follow the suggestion to compensate the mechanic who helps me find a car?
It is a suggestion that benefits both parties—the mechanic and the buyer—to reach an agreeable arrangement. However, another alternative is available to both parties and must be agreed upon before the meeting to avoid any misunderstandings. Currently, Bring Your Mechanic is formulating the rules of engagement to protect both sides. Nevertheless, to be fair, a $50.00 travel charge is strongly recommended for the effort the mechanic puts into meeting the auto buyer. However, for now, it remains negotiable between the mechanic and the auto buyer before the meeting takes place. Note to mechanics: Please clarify in your description how your services will be rendered and how payment will be handled, so that any auto buyer can know in advance.

  • Can I recover my account once my account is deleted?
After an account is deleted, all related data is permanently removed from the website. There is no possibility of recovery once deletion is completed. Therefore, please ensure that you are certain about deleting your account before proceeding.
